Everything you need to know to find the most suitable packaging

Due to its recyclability and biodegradability, corrugated cardboard has become the most demanded material in the production of durable and versatile packaging; Ideal for storing, transporting and protecting.

Technically, corrugated cardboard is a sandwich consisting of two layers of plain cardboard (Lids) and one or more layers of corrugated cardboard held together by natural adhesives derived from corn or starch. If there are two or more sheets of corrugated cardboard, another flat sheet of cardboard, called a stretched sheet, is placed between one another. Then from single, double corrugated cardboard, etc. we are talking about. In addition, since the height of the wave can vary from 1.5 mm to 5 mm, there are different combinations that increase the final cardboard thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 15 mm.

Each of the elements that make up a particular corrugated board can differ in material, thickness and weight, and affect, among others, the properties of the finished product.
